Checking back into this week’s Facebook Mineral of the Week Group, minerals of Morocco.
When the pale blue barites came out, I really liked them, but they were pretty pricey, and ones in my price range were not of the best quality.
So I waited.
The in 2015, the last time that I was in Tucson, I managed to purchase a couple from Rock Currier’s Jewel Tunnel Imports.
There were the usual many flats, but not many stood out. I selected two and this is the better of them. Price? Marked at US$40. Cost? Keystone.
Below: Barite, Jebel Ouichane, Beni Bou Ifrour, Nador, Nador Province, Oriental Region, Morocco. About 60mm tall.
Thanks Steve I was puzzled by your comment.A good buy in that case.
I know what a keystone is but what is your context relevant to price??
