This is one of the nicest Dundas Extended crocoite specimens I have ever seen. The habit is very different to most of the crocoite to come out of the Red Lead or Adelaide mines, and the main crystal, from memory (which probably means that it is wrong! 😆) is at least 15mm in length.
Mined by Mike and Eleanor Phelan, and at one time, in the collection of Tasmanian mineral collector, Mark Hallam. The current whereabouts of this specimen are not known.
