As some of you know, I dabble with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools from time to time.
I have recently been made aware of a website where you can imagine say, a game, and it will be built for you. And its free! It is websim.ai.
Now, being AI, you don’t always get what you expect. 😆
But I had a play with it and created a game that can help you learn a bit more about elements.
The first iteration wasn’t particularly useful, but with a bit of back and forth, I managed to get it to work as I envisaged (I used to be a programmer in a past past life).
There are two levels in this game, Beginner and Advanced.
If you select Beginner (the default), you can enter either an atomic number OR a chemical symbol. So for example copper is atomic number 29 with a symbol of Cu, so entering either will bring up more details about that element.
If you want to tax yourself a bit more, try the Advanced option. Here you have to enter both the atomic number AND the matching symbol for it to display the additional details.
If you are just a bit more lazy, you can click on Display Random Element and you get, well, a random element!
It is just a bit of fun. 😁
This is cool!🥸
When will we get element 120?! Should be more stable ( below radium) than 119 (below francium).
And where is this so called Island of Stability? I want my money back. Bill.
