how are the said incised surfaces created?
one of my main focus is precisely surface features (the skin) of various crystals! although the peculiar samples are mostly variants of quartz!
Could we have more details about the incised marks please?
Hard to say exactly Bill. I suspect that there may have been another mineral present, perhaps "dendritic".
oh oops someone already asked haha my bad, i was actually told they are dissolution etchings or water etchings!! hmmmm~
